Rehabilitation of the Espace Saint Augustin
into a cultural centre

In response to the needs voiced by residents, the City of Bordeaux undertook a project to requalify a 1930s-era municipal building, which how houses a multimedia library, multi-purpose room, borough administrative office, and offices for neighbourhood services. The architectural intervention creates public continuity between the porticos, the central lobby, the interior gardens, and the central square, and it opens the wings of the building to the life of the surrounding neighbourhood.
