Bordeaux
In the shadow of the Church of Saint Michel, this charming, nine-bedroom hotel is yet another sign of this area’s ongoing regeneration. A productive and very close collaboration with InCité, the entity responsible for the redevelopment of Bordeaux’s historical city centre, provided the impetus for the conversion and thorough rehabilitation of this old, traditional residential structure. The cut stone and rubble masonry façades have been fully restored, the roofs removed and redone entirely, and structural reinforcements have been added to guarantee structural stability. Inside, the project has restored the original spatial organization, especially with the restoration of the central patio, which restored fluidity to the vertical and horizontal circulations.

On the ground floor, the bar and its terrace have become a meeting point for this mini-neighbourhood, both during the day and into the evening.
